The Hand, Constructive Anatomy. My only gripe is – I bought the Kindle version first, and it was full of wonky characters and misaligned formatting. A very helpful how-to book that’s practically a bible for comic artists.

Bridgman’s superb anatomical sketches, of which there are nearly in the anatmy, also bring clearly to fruition his lucid theories of how to draw the human body in its structure and its complex movements. It’s extremely valuable, but I had to learn from other teachers first in order to understand this book.
